Kentucky is famous for its mountain terrain It's also a top destination for off-road riding, with steep hills, diverse forests, and scenic mountains. You can find some of the best off-road trails can be found in Kentucky.

1.Black Mountain Off-Road Adventure Area

Location: 711 Bailey Creek Road, Evarts, KY 40828

Dates Open:  Year-Round

Fees: 31 Day Permit - $30; Yearly Permit - $50

This 7000 acres off-road park is open year-round to all vehicles. Camping and campfires are permitted in some selected areas. Night ride is allow but must have front and rear lights.

2.Blue Hooler Off-road Park

Location:  1494 Ollie Road, Mammoth Cave, KY 42259

Dates Open:  Friday through Sunday 8am-6pm, weather permitting

Fees: $15/rider; kids 10 and under are free

This large off-road park offer for all skill levels and 4x4 vehicle types. There has a large sand cave which is a must see when visit.

3.Dirt Nasty Off-Road Park

Location: 599 Pretty Ridge Road, Morehead, KY 40351

Dates Open:  Saturday 9am-5pm, Sunday 10am-5pm

Fees:  $20/rider(Day pass covers one driver and one vehicle.)

This park is offer about 600 acres of wood trails consists of mud and play areas and it also has excellent scenery that from cliffs, caves and creeks. All vehicles are welcomed and camping is permitted.

4.Dirty Turtle Off-Road Park

Location: 93 Buck Run Road, Bedford, KY 40006

Dates Open: Friday through Saturday 9am-10pm, Sunday 9am-5pm

Fees:  Driver - $20/day, Passenger - $5/day

This off-road park offer a wide variety of trails and about 286 acres. All vehicle types are welcomed from easy to challenge.

5.Earlington Loch Mary Lake ATV Park

Location:  1865 Earlington Road, Earlington, KY 42410

Dates Open:  Daily 7am-9pm except during deer hunting season.

Fees: One Day Permit - $10; Three Day Consecutive Permit - $30

This off-road park offers about 10 miles of trails and about 608 acres of forest. Most of the terrain are hard pack. Camping and campfire is prohibited.

6.Hollerwood Park

Location: 2096 Highway 1036, Stanton, KY 40380

Dates Open: Trails open daily - call for store hours.

Fees:  Monthly Pass - $40/OHV; Annual Pass - $100/OHV; Non-Motorized Recreation Pass - $10

This large track open to the public with about 3000 acres and 100 miles of trail. The woody trail cover with trees and most of the terrain are hard pack.
