FAQs
The Can-Am Defender lift kit is used to lift up your vehicle to avoid damaging the suspension and incurring expensive maintenance costs when driving on bumpy roads.
For example, a two-inch Defender lift kit will increase ground clearance and allow you to add better suspension with added travel and tackle challenging terrain more easily. A modest lift kit also won't hamper the on-road abilities of a truck.
As with any modification, installing a lift kit might affect your vehicle's steering and handling since the center of gravity will be higher. That means drivers will have to be much more cautious when driving at high speeds or turning corners. Taking a sharp turn too quickly could increase the chances of a rollover.
The lift kit package includes front and rear sets of 4 brackets with installation and hardware included. They are made of iron, which is more durable than other brands on the market.
