Not just food, jazz music, and festival here. If you’re a thrill-seeker in Louisiana, checking out one of the state’s excellent off-roading trails is a must. With so much expansive space and awesome terrain for the sport, you’ll have plenty of high-quality options.

1.Tower Trax ATV Park

Location:  10247 Hwy 10, Fluker, LA 70436

Dates Open: Saturday, Sunday and Holidays 9am-dark, weekday and night riding by appointment.

Fees: $10/OHV

This park is about 2600 acres and full of forest and mud. Here are also many trees and mud bogs around. Camping is permitted and remember to make an appointment before you haul.

2.Louisiana Mudfest

Location:  12220 Hwy 8., Colfax, LA 71417

Dates Open:  Friday and Saturday 8am-2am, Sunday 8am-10pm

Fees: Non-Event Rate—$10/person/day; $7/Military ID; 5 and under— Free

All types of vehicles are welcomed and camping is allow in developed sites only. The trail here are muddy and swamp.

3.South Toledo Bend State Park

Location:  120 Bald Eagle Road, Anacoco, LA 71403

Dates Open:  April through September - Daily 8am to 7pm; October through March - Daily 8am to 5pm

Fees:  $15/OHV; annual trail permit - $100/vehicle

This trails offers 10 miles of ATV trails but the night riding is not permitted. Camping and campfire is allowed.

4.High Lifter Off-Road Park

Location:7140 Colquitt Road, Shreveport, LA 71047

Dates Open: Saturday 9am-7pm, Sunday 10am-7pm

Fees:$20/rider

This off-road park has about 25 miles of trails and mud bogs on 574 acres. Camping is allow but night ride is prohibited.
