If you just think that New York just is a financial metropolis, you are dead wrong. If you want a muddy, heart-pounding off-road adventures are for you! New York State has some terrific extreme parks and trail systems to traverse throughout the day. Here are some great places to start your off-road trip in NYC!
1.1000 Acres Ranch
Location: 465 Warrensburg Road, Stony Creek, NY 12878
Dates Open: Open to ATVs during select weekends.
Fees: $25/OHV(Day Pass)
The terrain here is a mix of hard pack, loose dirt, light elevation changes and some of the water crossings. ATVs are only allow during selected weekends.
2.ADK MX
Location: 10786 State Route 149, Fort Ann, NY 12827
Dates Open: : Friday and Saturday 10am-4pm
Fees: 50cc - $20/rider
This track is cater to all skill levels, UTVs and ATVs are allow in certain times. Call for details before you haul.
3.Broome Tioga Sports Center
Location: Route 79, Binghampton, NY 13835
Dates Open: Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday 2pm-dark
Fees: $25/riders
All types of vehicles are welcome but ATVs and UTVs only permit in certain times, SUVs & Jeeps are permitted during scheduled 4x4 events.
4.Frozen Ocean Motorsports Complex
Location: 4415 Vanderstouw Road, Auburn, NY 13021
Dates Open: Wednesday 4pm-dusk
Fees: $30/rider;50cc - $25
ATVs and UTVs are permitted but in certain times. Here has the night track for night ride but MX helmet is required.
5.Mettowee Off Road Extreme Park
Location: 607 County Road 12, Whitehall, NY 12887
Dates Open: Saturday and Sunday 9am-5pm
Fees: $30/OHV(fee covers one driver and vehicle)
This new-built park is around 120 acres, all types of vehicles are welcome. This is a fun place to ride and call before you haul.
